To provide students studying the Kite Technology textbook with an opportunity to interact and foster creativity through designing and assembling engineering models using the Technology learning kit, Vietnam Investment Publishing and Educational Equipment Joint Stock Company organized the "Searching for Young Engineers" competition.

Accordingly, all 4th and 5th grade students nationwide who are using the Kite Technology textbook can register to participate between February 15th and March 20th.

The competition can be individual or group-based. The content involves creating engineering models based on the Practical Equipment Kit (Engineering Model Assembly Kit for Grades 4 and 5 and the Technology Practice Kit for Grade 5 from the Cánh Diều textbook), using only a few additional details for decorative purposes.

The Young Engineer Search competition is an opportunity for parents to encourage their children to showcase their talents and to give them a chance to confidently express themselves and present their creative ideas.

Students will record a video presentation introducing their product design idea and demonstrating how the product works. Please note that for individual projects, a maximum of 2 sets of engineering model kits for grades 4 and 5 and 2 sets of technology practice kits for grade 5 may be used. For group projects, a maximum of 3 sets of engineering model kits for grades 4 and 5 and 3 sets of technology practice kits for grade 5 may be used.

How to participate:

- Step 1: Parents submit their entries by sending video clips directly to the Organizing Committee via email kisunhi2025@gmail.com or phone number 0986271249.

Title: Participating in the Junior Engineer Search Competition. Include the following information: Child's full name, team name, date of birth, address, parent's or homeroom teacher's phone number.

- Step 2: One day after receiving the entries from parents, the Organizing Committee will post the entries on the Kite Teachers Group Facebook page.

- Step 3: Parents share the child's video on their personal page, tag the corresponding "Wings of the Kite" textbook in public mode, and add the hashtags #SearchingForLittleEngineers #WingsoftheKiteTextbook.

- Step 4: Parents encourage voting for their child by liking, sharing, and commenting on their child's entry on the "Wings of the Kite Teachers Group" Facebook page.

BTC notes that interactions on parents' personal pages will not be counted. Each contestant/team can register a maximum of 2 different models in terms of category but will only receive 1 prize.

BTC has the full right to use the entries and player information without prior notice or payment. BTC may disqualify entries if it detects any signs of cheating without prior notice.

By participating in the contest, players agree to the rules and the organizers' decision is final in all cases. If the organizers are unable to contact the winner within 3 days of the contest results being announced, the prize will be forfeited.

The 20 most creatively designed and best-presented building sets, along with the highest number of votes from the contestants/teams, will be awarded prizes by the Organizing Committee. All awards will be presented with certificates from the Organizing Committee.
