The international education quality accreditation organization FIBAA has just awarded the National Economics University and 15 of its training programs with a certificate of educational quality standards.
FIBAA is the Swiss Government’s quality assurance organization with headquarters in both Germany and Switzerland. It is the world’s leading organization in accrediting social sciences and humanities, law, management and economics. Criteria such as the quality of lecturers, quality of student services, training programs, practical application, quality of facilities and services, etc. are all strictly evaluated by this organization.
Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong, Principal of the National Economics University, said that up to now, the school has 20 programs that meet the quality standards of the ACBSP organization (USA); 15 programs that meet the quality standards of the FIBAA organization; 16 training programs that meet the quality standards according to domestic standards.
By the end of July, there were nearly 200 universities nationwide that had been accredited, but most of them were accredited by domestic organizations. 11 universities were recognized as meeting quality standards by international education quality accreditation organizations, including 3 newly recognized schools this year: National Economics University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and Van Lang University.
These 11 educational institutions have been accredited by 5 organizations, the most of which are HCERES - French High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education and AUN-QA - ASEAN University Quality Assurance Network.
