Add connecting flights to destinations
Speaking at the event, Mr. Tuong Dich Phi - Vice Chairman of Hunan Provincial People's Committee - made proposals to enhance cultural and tourism exchanges and cooperation between Hunan and Vietnam.
Firstly, build a tourism cooperation mechanism to simplify visa procedures, unify customs procedures, strengthen institutional foundations and facilities to facilitate tourists.
Second, build and exploit red tourism products related to research, study, and inheritance of the friendship tradition of the two Parties and two countries.
Third, we need to integrate tourism resources of both sides, build unique cross-border tourism routes, and form a "one-trip, many-destination" cross-border tourism system.
On the afternoon of April 24, the first direct flight between Hanoi and Changsha (capital of Hunan) will take off, facilitating two-way travel.
Ms. Trinh Thieu Hong, chief representative of China Southern Airlines in Hanoi, said that based on the great potential between Vietnam and China, this airline restored the Changsha - Hanoi route with a frequency of 3 flights/week.
This summer, the airline plans to operate 97 weekly flights between Vietnam and China, up 15% year-on-year.
"In addition to expanding the flight network, we also connect major travel companies in China to Vietnam to survey, evaluate, and build tourism products for Chinese visitors to Vietnam.
In the southern region of China, many people want to come to Vietnam, with popular destinations such as Hanoi, Ha Long, Ninh Binh...," Ms. Hong shared.
