One more Covid-19 patient died in Ben Tre and 1,174 new cases

On the afternoon of May 25, the Ministry of Health announced that during the day, the country had 1,174 more Covid-19 cases and 1 death in Ben Tre.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Vietnam has had more than 11.6 million Covid-19 cases and more than 10.63 million recoveries. Regarding treatment, 439 people were announced to have recovered from Covid-19 on the same day. There are currently 70 severe Covid-19 patients requiring oxygen and ventilators. The total number of deaths due to Covid-19 in Vietnam to date is 43,206, accounting for 0.4%.

Covid-19 epidemic on May 25 remained at over 1,100 cases

Regarding Covid-19 vaccination, on May 24, 16,392 doses of vaccine were injected. Thus, the total number of vaccine doses injected is more than 266.4 million doses, of which the number of doses injected for people aged 18 and over is more than 223.7 million.
