Mobile World earned more than 3,500 billion from Bach Hoa Xanh in November

In November 2024 alone, the Bach Hoa Xanh chain brought in revenue of more than 3,500 billion VND for Mobile World Investment Joint Stock Company.

Mobile World Investment Corporation (HoSE: MWG) has just announced its business results for the first 11 months of 2024.

Accordingly, the company recorded net revenue of more than VND122,200 billion in 11 months (up 13% over the same period last year), completing 98% of the yearly revenue plan.

In the revenue structure, the Dien May Xanh and The Gioi Di Dong chains (including Topzone) contributed nearly 67%, while the Bach Hoa Xanh chain contributed 30.6%.

Specifically, the two chains Dien May Xanh and The Gioi Di Dong brought in total revenue of VND81,700 billion in 11 months.

Currently, these two chains have more than 3,000 stores.

In November alone, revenue of the two chains decreased by 9% compared to October 2024, mainly due to iPhone cooling down after two months of launch and laptops passing their peak sales season.

Regarding the Bach Hoa Xanh chain, in the past 11 months, this chain brought in nearly 37,400 billion VND in revenue for Mobile World and currently has more than 1,730 stores.

If calculating average revenue performance by type, the two "senior" chains are still ahead of Bach Hoa Xanh.

According to the analysis report of Petroleum Securities Joint Stock Company, in 2023, in terms of supermarket model, Bach Hoa Xanh chain will rank second in number of stores and first in market share (about 30%).

This unit predicts that the Bach Hoa Xanh chain will expand in the near future, with 100 - 200 new stores opening each year, in the period 2025 - 2028.

Recently there is a trend of banks collaborating with businesses to turn retail stores and transaction points into ATMs.

Typically, Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank ( VPBank ) cooperates with Mobile World to deploy a payment agent model.

In which, VPBank is the principal agent, providing financial services within the scope of payment agent activities to customers.

More than 3,000 Mobile World and Dien May Xanh stores will become transaction points for depositing/withdrawing/transferring money like VPBank branches.

In addition to the cooperation between VPBank and Mobile World, the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) and F88 also cooperate to provide financial services through more than 850 F88 transaction points.

Customers can update their identification documents on the MBBank app at F88 transaction points and in the future, they can deposit and withdraw cash at the delivery agent, pay credit card balances, transfer money, collect and pay on behalf of others...
