Speaking in response to the festival, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union of An Giang province Nguyen Phuong Thu emphasized: “The Young Doctors' Day following Uncle Ho's teachings volunteering for community health in 2025 is a very meaningful activity, creating conditions for policy households, poor households, and people in difficult circumstances to be examined, receive health consultation, disease screening, and receive free medicine. Through the program, the organizing committee sent gifts to people in difficult circumstances. Thereby, demonstrating the care, sharing, and responsibility of local authorities, the companionship of social organizations, especially businesses and sponsors for social security activities”.

On this occasion, the An Giang Provincial Young Physicians Association, local leaders and the district Social Insurance presented a symbolic plaque to present 300 medical examinations and gifts worth 40 million VND; presented 1,500 kg of rice and supported 10 health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances in Hoa Binh commune.

After the ceremony, the doctors and nurses performed internal examinations, ear, nose and throat examinations, and digestive examinations; provided health consultations; performed X-rays, ultrasounds, and electrocardiograms; distributed free medicine and donated 300 rice portions to 300 people in difficult circumstances. The total cost of the activities was nearly 50 million VND, from social mobilization funds.

This is an activity to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30), International Labor Day (May 1) and the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19).
