At the Congress, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Chairman of the Da Nang City Young Physicians Association, said that in the 2018-2023 term, the Association has focused on implementing 3 campaigns including: the campaign for young physicians to study and practice to improve medical ethics, the campaign for young physicians to be creative in scientific research, the campaign for young physicians to volunteer for community health and promoting the work of building the Association at all levels.

The City Young Doctors Association organized many outstanding activities such as the Young Doctors Day following Uncle Ho's teachings, volunteering for community health, the Day for beloved juniors, the journey of young doctors for community health... which attracted the active participation of a large number of young doctors, pharmacists from hospitals, medical facilities from the city to localities and units; strong encouragement from all walks of life and truly brought practical benefits to the people, especially people in remote areas and areas with difficult circumstances, demonstrating the depth of medical ethics.
More than 200 delegates attended the 3rd Congress of Young Physicians Association of Da Nang City.
In addition, the City Young Doctors Association examined and provided free medicine to over 32,000 people in Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province; gave 3,200 gifts to people in difficult circumstances, and over 300 scholarships to students.
The Association also organized basic first aid training, hand washing instructions with soap for nearly 5,000 preschool teachers and primary school students; distributed more than 10,000 leaflets and propaganda on reproductive health, family planning and epidemics to more than 6,000 students, some disease prevention documents for people... with a total value of over 5 billion VND.
The Da Nang City Young Physicians Association has had many meaningful activities during the past term.
In addition, the Association also conducts training activities on scientific research proposal writing skills and quantitative data analysis skills in medical research for nearly 300 young doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and technicians at hospitals and provides practical support for scientific research and expertise.
At the Congress, the 3rd City Young Physicians Association launched and implemented 2 programs for young physicians who are pioneers and creative in scientific research and quality improvement and young physicians who are proactive and volunteer for community health. In addition, the Association continues to build a strong association, contributing talent and youth to the cause of protecting, caring for and improving people's health.

The Congress also elected Dr. Nguyen Thanh Trung to hold the position of Chairman of the Da Nang City Young Physicians Association, term III, 2023 - 2028; elected 3 Vice Chairmen of the Association, term III, 2023 - 2028, namely Dr. Dang Anh Dao, Dr. Tran Dinh Trung and Master Truong Thoai Nhan.
