On the morning of September 19, representatives of Van Don Secondary School (District 4, Ho Chi Minh City) came to the Tuoi Tre newspaper office to present 25 million VND and 700 notebooks donated by teachers, parents and students of the school.

On the morning of September 19, the delegation of Bui Thi Xuan High School (District 1) came to contribute 16,033,000 VND. Mr. Vo Minh Luan, representative of the school delegation, said that this was the amount that the principal had mobilized to contribute during the flag-raising ceremony at the beginning of the week.
Ms. Duong Thi Hue, president of the school's union, said this was part of the money raised during the flag-raising ceremony at the beginning of the week with the theme of Good Work Day "Sending love and sunshine" to overcome storms and floods.
The school has raised 109 million VND and has allocated a portion to Tuoi Tre newspaper to send to the people of the North. The remaining amount will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front of District 4, Ho Chi Minh City.
