On September 4, in Duc Trong district, Lam Dong, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and a Government delegation conducted a survey to gather information on difficulties and obstacles in two expressway projects in this locality. The delegation was joined by Deputy Minister of Transport Le Anh Tuan.
The working group inspected the Tan Hoi intersection (Duc Trong district), part of the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway.
Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Pham S (right cover) reported to Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and the working delegation about some difficulties of the project.
Reporting to the Deputy Prime Minister and the working delegation, Mr. Pham S, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, said that the two expressway projects Tan Phu - Bao Loc, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong overlap with the mineral planning for the period 2021-2030, vision 2050 with an area of over 224 hectares. The resettlement areas for the two projects are also entangled with the mineral planning.
The two projects are also facing difficulties in funding. The Provincial People's Committee has reported and proposed that the Government consider adding VND3,332 billion to the budget (of which the Tan Phu - Bao Loc project is VND2,410 billion and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong is VND922 billion).
After surveying the route, project site and listening to the report, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha acknowledged the opinions and recommendations of local leaders and investors on the implementation process and existing problems.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that after the survey, the Government delegation will meet with the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee to propose solutions to resolve related issues.
"The Government is very interested in building the expressway from Tan Phu to Lien Khuong because it is very important for the socio-economic development and lives of Lam Dong people.
This route is also in line with the planning and development orientation of the province's transport network, with connectivity to other provinces in the region. Therefore, the locality and relevant ministries and branches need to promptly implement related procedures," said the Deputy Prime Minister.
