Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee meets with Vietnam Fatherland Front officials and typical organizations on the occasion of Tet At Ty 2025

(NLDO) - In recent years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and unions at all levels in Ho Chi Minh City have carried out many activities and achieved many important results.

On the morning of January 18, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a meeting with cadres of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and typical people's organizations in the area on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.

Attending the meeting were Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Phuoc Loc; Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Manh Cuong; leaders of the City Party Committee's Party Committee, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front, unions and political organizations in the city.

Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Phuoc Loc said that in 2024, under the comprehensive leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the drastic management of the city government, the joint efforts of the great national solidarity bloc and all classes of people, Ho Chi Minh City has strived to bring the growth index to 7.17% (higher than the national average). For the first time, Ho Chi Minh City's budget revenue exceeded the milestone of more than 500,000 billion VND, contributing 25% to the state budget - an increase of 13% compared to the plan.

The common achievements of Ho Chi Minh City have very important contributions from the great national unity bloc in the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and the participation of people's organizations; the participation of the staff working on the front and the entire people.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and unions have carried out many important activities in recent years. In recent days, the Vietnam Fatherland Front system and people's organizations at all levels have made efforts to simultaneously carry out many movements and activities to care for Tet.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, these results have partly summarized the measure of people's livelihood and the continuous efforts, determination and responsibility of the system, the team of cadres working on the front and people's organizations at all levels in implementing assigned tasks. In which, there is the role of the head of the front work committee in the neighborhood, hamlet, and the head of people's organizations in residential areas.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, entering the new phase, Ho Chi Minh City focuses on drastically implementing many solutions to implement Resolution 31-NQ/TW dated December 30, 2022 of the Politburo and Resolution 98/2023/QH15 dated June 24, 2023 of the National Assembly.

Therefore, in implementing tasks, the entire system of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and unions need to unify the spirit of people knowing, people discussing, people doing, people inspecting, people supervising, and people benefiting.

Make efforts to mobilize many resources to care for, look after, and encourage union members of each organization. Take care of all classes of people and social strata to celebrate Tet together, not leaving anyone behind during the traditional Tet holiday.
