Tam Diep City Party Committee summarizes 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 33 NQ TW of the Party Central Committee

On April 16, Tam Diep City Party Committee held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW, dated June 9, 2014 of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure) on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development.

Attending the conference were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Department of Culture and Sports, and Tam Diep city.

After 10 years of implementing Resolution 33-NQ/TW, up to now, Tam Diep city has basically achieved the goals of building and developing culture, the city's people have intelligence, physical strength, personality, beautiful, friendly and civilized lifestyle.

The work of organizing the study, dissemination and implementation of the Resolution and related documents has been carried out seriously, scientifically and synchronously by Party committees at all levels... Thereby raising awareness among cadres, Party members and people about the importance of culture in general and building a cultural life in particular in the period of industrialization, modernization and international integration.

The Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on culture have been deployed and implemented effectively. State management of culture has been carried out seriously; violations of cultural laws have been promptly inspected and handled; resources have been focused on investing in the construction, completion and basic equipment of a synchronous system of cultural and sports institutions; the work of preserving and promoting the values of national cultural identity has been effectively carried out; a lifestyle with a sense of self-respect, autonomy, and living and working according to the Constitution and laws has been formed.

Cultural and artistic activities are organized in a variety of forms, rich and attractive in content, meeting political and social tasks and the cultural enjoyment needs of the people.

The awareness, ethics, and lifestyle of party members, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and people of all walks of life have had many important changes, contributing to building a healthy cultural environment, pushing back social evils, and gradually narrowing the gap in cultural life between inner cities and suburbs.

At the conference, delegates discussed and clarified the results achieved in 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee. At the same time, they pointed out the remaining problems and limitations in implementing the Resolution and proposed solutions to overcome them.

To continue effectively implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW, in the coming time, Tam Diep City Party Committee will continue to raise awareness of Party committees and people about the role and position of culture, the importance of building and developing Vietnamese culture and people in conjunction with implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws on culture.

Strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of cultural activities and cultural services. Strengthen guidance on the implementation of legal regulations and inspection and examination of cultural activities and cultural service businesses; promptly detect and strictly handle violations.

Pay attention to building culture in the Party and political system; improve the quality and effectiveness of cultural activities, preserve and develop culture; maintain and promote the cultural identity of Tam Diep-Dong Giao people.

Pay attention to investing in facilities and equipment to improve the quality of cultural products towards developing the cultural industry in the city...

At the conference, 10 collectives and 16 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW were awarded by Tam Diep city.
