Specifically, from June 2021 to September 2024, the Department of Education and Training assigned estimates and finalized payments exceeding 5% of the budget for preferential allowances for teachers in violation of regulations at 14 schools not located in mountainous areas.

The inspection conclusion clearly stated that the total amount of money that the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training had assigned and settled incorrectly was more than 12.3 billion VND. Currently, these 14 schools have paid the entire amount to the teachers.

The provincial inspectorate requested the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training to recover all of this money and submit it to the state budget, and at the same time specify those responsible for the period 2021 - 2024.

In addition to the above incident, Dak Lak Provincial Inspectorate also requested the Department of Education and Training to recover 2.2 billion VND spent incorrectly on repairs and consulting into the state budget.

Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training estimated the repair budget, leading to a settlement exceeding nearly 164 million VND. In addition, consulting costs for projects under 500 million VND were also paid incorrectly, totaling more than 2 billion VND.
