City attracts investment in urban development projects

In recent times, Son La city has focused on directing and determined to implement investment attraction policies, create a favorable business environment; ensure the progress and quality of projects, build smart urban areas, green urban areas, towards achieving type I urban areas.

In the period of 2020-2025, the city has coordinated with all levels and sectors to attract 25 projects, including 17 investment projects in the form of investment policy approval and investor approval, 08 projects in the form of auction and bidding with a total registered capital of more than 4,400 billion VND. During the implementation of the projects, the City has applied an open policy to investors; supported and proactively coordinated with businesses and investors in site clearance, ensuring quick, convenient commitments, and on-schedule handover. Many projects have been completed and put into production and business operations, promoting efficiency, contributing to the socio -economic development of the city.

In the coming time, the city will continue to focus on investment preparation, resolutely direct site clearance, and create “clean” land funds for investors. Create a favorable investment and business environment, attract and diversify investment resources, and focus on public-private partnerships to implement projects in the fields of transportation,education , health, services, etc. to realize the plans, creating momentum for the city to continue to develop rapidly and sustainably./.
