Pham Ngoc Bao Xuyen, born in 2011 (son of Pham Minh Tri) is a victim of Agent Orange, suffering from cerebral palsy and paralysis of the limbs since childhood. Tri and his wife live by working as hired laborers, with an unstable income, and their old house is in disrepair and they have no money to repair it.
The house was started to be repaired at the end of March and has now been completed. The house has an area of over 60 square meters and has been repaired, upgraded, plastered, the roof replaced, covered with ceiling tiles, and a toilet built.
The total repair cost is 60 million VND, of which the City Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims supported 30 million VND, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thanh Ward mobilized the Management Board of Ninh Hoa and Ninh Phuc inter-neighborhood parishes to support 30 million VND.
On the same morning, the City Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin came to the house to give 5 million VND in livelihood support to Ho Nguyen Hoai Nam (born in 2004, residing in Ninh Duc quarter, Ninh Thanh ward), a victim of Agent Orange, paralyzed in both legs since childhood.
This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), while creating conditions and supporting families of Agent Orange victims to overcome difficulties and improve their lives.
