On the morning of March 15, Ninh Binh City People's Committee held a conference to summarize the patriotic emulation movement in 2023 and launch the patriotic emulation movement in 2024.
In 2023, emulation and reward work has been focused on leadership and direction by all levels and sectors in the city. Emulation movements have been maintained and promoted, attracting the participation of many classes of people, contributing to the successful completion of political goals and tasks, and socio-economic development in the locality.
In particular, emulation movements have been associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. The emulation movements have developed widely in all fields, the main targets of the emulation movements have all been achieved and exceeded, many targets have increased higher than planned.
Notably, trade, service and tourism activities are bustling; many events and activities are held in the area, attracting a large number of visitors to Ninh Binh. In 2023, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in the city will reach over 29 trillion VND, an increase of 28.9% compared to 2022. Agricultural production and the OCOP product emulation movement in each commune and ward will continue to develop.
During the year, the city focused on mobilizing resources to renovate and upgrade urban infrastructure, urban beautification and invest in works serving people's lives, education and community activities. Site clearance work to implement projects achieved many results.
The direction and administration work, digital transformation work, and e-government construction have been focused on and directed resolutely. Ninh Binh City was ranked first by the Provincial People's Committee in terms of digital transformation level and first in the Competitiveness Index of departments, branches, sectors, and localities of the province.
The emulation movement in the cultural field took place vigorously with many cultural, artistic and sports activities attracting the participation of many people from all walks of life. Poverty reduction, social security and welfare were paid attention to and achieved good results. The poverty rate decreased to 0.64%. Political security was maintained, social order and safety were ensured.
The work of building the Party and political organizations; preventing and combating corruption, receiving people, and resolving complaints and denunciations has been focused on, contributing to strengthening people's trust and creating consensus in society.
In 2024, the city is determined to continue launching a strong and widespread emulation movement in all fields, thereby creating positive and comprehensive changes, contributing to the successful completion of key goals such as: Striving for a revenue growth rate of production and business establishments of 14.5%; building 11 wards to meet urban civilized standards; average income per capita reaching 75 million VND/year; 100% of grassroots authorities completing their tasks well or better...
On this occasion, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement in 2023 were honored to receive the Emulation Flag, Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee and Certificate of Merit from the City People's Committee.
