Lang Son City slaughters "Piggy Bank" to build projects and welcome party congresses at all levels - Lang Son Newspaper

 

- Afternoon of March 28, Standing Committee The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son city organized a program to cut down "Pig money" to build construction works, a part of the work to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025 - 2030.

The special emulation plan "Raising piggy banks to save money" to build works and welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term was implemented by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son City from February 2024. Based on the general plan, the Fatherland Front Committees of wards and communes launched 87/87 front working committees of blocks and villages in the area, each committee bought 1 piggy bank to save money.

The monthly Front Committees have launched various forms of support and received enthusiastic support from cadres, union members, association members, and households in the area. Raising economical piggy banks is a practical activity following Uncle Ho's teachings on thrift, while contributing to consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere in the Front system, actively competing, unanimously achieving achievements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025 - 2030.

At the program, the units opened piggy banks, collecting over 220 million VND. Of which, the unit with the highest amount of savings was Vinh Trai ward, with nearly 44.7 million VND; the block and village with the highest amount of savings was the Front Work Committee of block 7+10, Dong Kinh ward, with over 9.4 million VND.

The savings will be used to build projects, help disadvantaged families in the area, and welfare projects serving the activities of the people in residential areas.
