Lang Son City starts construction of houses for poor households - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On April 15, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Dong Kinh Ward and Hoang Van Thu Ward, Lang Son City, organized a groundbreaking ceremony to build houses for households with difficult housing circumstances.

In Dong Kinh ward, the family that received support to build a house is Mrs. Hai Thi Ty, residing in block 4. Representatives of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses of Lang Son City and leaders of Lang Son Production and Trade Joint Stock Company presented funds to support the family to build a house worth 110 million VND.

The project to build a new house for Ms. Hai Thi Ty's family has a total estimated budget of 130 million VND. In addition to the funding from the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses of the City and businesses, the People's Committee of Dong Kinh Ward continues to mobilize the remaining resources to build the project for Ms. Ty's family. The project is expected to be completed and handed over to the family by the end of May 2025.

    In Hoang Van Thu ward, the family that has a house built is Mrs. Ho Thi Kim, in block 7. Mrs. Kim is a 75-year-old Party member and lives with her 60-year-old son and 3 grandchildren. The family does not have a stable source of income. The family's house was built over 50 years ago and is seriously degraded, not ensuring living conditions. Therefore, support for the construction of a new house will help her family have a stable place to live, improving the quality of life.

The new house is expected to be built with an area of ​​over 40m2, with a total cost of about 200 million VND. Of which, the Ward Party Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward will support 100 million VND from the piggy bank savings fund.
