Lang Son City: Meeting to prepare for the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Festival and Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the afternoon of April 15, the People's Committee of Lang Son city held a meeting to prepare for the organization of activities of the Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Festival (April 19), Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21) in 2025 in Lang Son city.

         Attending the meeting were leaders of Lang Son City People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial Library; city professional departments; Hoang Van Thu Ward People's Committee; representatives of schools in the city with students participating in the activities.

According to the plan, the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Festival, Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 is expected to be held for 2 days (April 18 and 19) at Ky Lua Walking Street, Hoang Van Thu Ward, Lang Son City with activities such as: performing ethnic costumes, evening gowns; activities to experience traditional folk games, cultural activities, arts, modern dance; displaying art books; performing role-playing and storytelling based on books; quizzes to find out book titles, quizzes based on books; organizing a mobile car book stall model to serve readers at Ky Lua Walking Street...

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and proposing a number of contents such as: art programs, national costume performances, storytelling, gift giving, funding for organizing activities; guest composition; communication work, etc.

Leaders of the City Departmentof Education and Training spoke at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, the leader of the City People's Committee requested: relevant units to proactively coordinate to perform well the assigned tasks. In particular, focusing on promoting propaganda so that people know, respond to and participate in the activities of the festival; assigning Hoang Van Thu ward to perform well the work of security, order, and environmental sanitation where the activities take place; encouraging participants to wear ethnic costumes... Ensuring the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Festival, Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 takes place successfully.
