Rural youth access digital transformation, learn to sell on TikTok

TPO - Da Nang Youth Union has implemented many models to accompany rural youth in accessing digital transformation, starting a business, and establishing a career on the peak day of "Volunteering to join hands to build new rural areas" in 2024.

In particular, this year, the Da Nang Youth Union focuses on knowledge transfer activities, helping localities in Hoa Vang district access digital knowledge and skills; supporting youth union members to start and establish businesses. In particular, the workshop "Selling OCOP products on TikTok" stands out.

Here, young entrepreneurs who want to get rich by developing local products are shared about the TikTok platform and its potential in selling agricultural products. In addition, experts also suggest ways to sell on TikTok, position brands, shoot product promotion videos, etc.

Also on this occasion, the Da Nang City Youth Union presented 10 trash bins placed at community centers in Hoa Vang district.

The Youth Union units also organized many activities during the peak of volunteering to build new rural areas. The Youth Union of the CNC Zone and Industrial Parks of Da Nang City coordinated with the Youth Union of Hoa Ninh Commune (Hoa Vang District) to donate 100 breeding chickens to households in difficult circumstances in Trung Nghia Village to create sustainable livelihoods.

Hoa Phong Commune Youth Union (Hoa Vang District) supports the Commune People's Committee and the Commune's grassroots Trade Union to implement the skillful mass mobilization model "Mobile Citizen Support Team" and the model "Saturday, New Rural Day, Day of Returning to the People" to support the settlement of administrative procedures for people directly in villages in the commune.

Responding to the peak volunteer activity day "Joining hands to build new countryside" and simultaneously launching "Green Sunday" in 2024, Hoa Vang Youth organized 11 volunteer youth teams with more than 200 youth union members.

In particular, focusing on simultaneously implementing tasks such as cleaning the environment, removing illegal advertisements, renovating flower beds, maintaining roads, martyrs' cemeteries and relics in the district.

According to Mr. Nguyen Ba Duan - Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Youth Union, on this occasion, all Youth Union branches in the area simultaneously deployed many volunteer activities to join hands in building new rural areas, demonstrating the pioneering and volunteering spirit of the city's youth on all fronts.

"In particular, we focus on activities to enhance knowledge sharing and information on entrepreneurship and creative startups for rural youth; support rural youth in accessing digital transformation, applying technology in agricultural development, building local agricultural products...", said Mr. Duân.
