Thanh Hoa Stopped for not wearing a helmet, Le Minh Phong sped away, knocking down a captain on duty.
At around 9:00 p.m. on November 4, the police working group of Nhu Thanh district coordinated with the Traffic Police Department of Thanh Hoa province to check alcohol concentration in Ben Sung town.
Discovering Le Minh Phong (18 years old, from Yen Tho commune, Nhu Thanh district) driving a motorbike carrying a passenger without a helmet, the task force signaled to stop the vehicle for inspection. However, Phong did not comply and drove straight into Captain Le Xuan Linh.

Captain Linh fainted and was taken to the emergency room at Nhu Thanh District General Hospital.
Working with the police, Phong confessed that he ran away because he was not wearing a helmet and did not have a driver’s license. The young man is being investigated for resisting law enforcement officers and is currently on bail.
On the morning of November 5, the leader of the Nhu Thanh District Police said that Captain Le Xuan Linh's health is now stable and he has been discharged from the hospital.
