In order to build the youth union movement, in recent times, the Hua Na Commune Youth Union has focused on building and developing union members. The Commune Youth Union has done a good job of political and ideological education so that the youth union members in the commune clearly understand their responsibilities in building and protecting their homeland. Along with that, the Hua Na Commune Youth Union has strengthened solutions to promote the start-up movement.
Focusing on the work of building and developing the Youth Union, up to now, the whole commune has 8 Youth Union branches with more than 205 members. Thanks to the promotion of propaganda work, it has helped the Youth Union members effectively and responsibly participate in the new rural construction programs, ensuring rural security; social security. Political and ideological education work also has positive impacts on the thoughts and actions of the Youth Union members in participating in the revolutionary movement.
Youth Union members visited the guava growing model of Mr. Nung Van Nen (Hua Na village, Hua Na commune, Than Uyen district).
Accompanying young people in starting and establishing businesses in recent times, the Executive Committee of Hua Na Commune Youth Union has maintained the operation and expanded the scale of Hua Na Cooperative with 8 members. Supported members to be the owners of 3-star OCOP products - Hua Na Guava to expand production scale. In addition, it also helped members access preferential capital from the Transaction Office of the District Social Policy Bank. Up to now, the total outstanding debt has reached more than 6.5 billion VND.
Creating conditions for union members to effectively use capital with preferential interest rates for business start-ups, the Commune Youth Union coordinated with specialized agencies to organize many training courses on production techniques and short-term vocational training courses. Talking with Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen - Secretary of the Commune Youth Union, we learned that the support programs have been effective. Union members have awakened the potential and strengths of the locality, constantly overcoming difficulties to become rich legitimately. Promoting the pioneering spirit of youth, Hua Na youth dare to think, dare to do, and boldly invest in economic models.
Hua Na is a purely agricultural commune, promoting the advantages of land, the youth here have become rich right on their homeland. Up to now, the whole commune has hundreds of production and business models owned by the Youth Union. Together with the union officials, we visited the production model of Mr. Nung Van Nen (Hua Na village, Hua Na commune). Quite surprised by the lush fruit garden, boldly investing in the Taiwanese guava growing model, now, on average, each year the family harvests more than 10 tons of guava, with an estimated revenue of over 200 million VND. The family's guava products are recognized as OCOP products, increasing consumption in the market. Currently, some fruit shops have placed orders, helping Mr. Nen feel more secure about the output of the product. With high revenue, he boldly invested in livestock farming and expanded the scale of the garden.
Along with the guava growing model, Hua Na commune also has many other new models and good practices, typically the model of raising spotted deer for velvet antlers of Ms. Lo Thi Gieng (Cham Cay village). Renovating the wild hills, Ms. Gieng's family has invested in a livestock area including: spotted deer, buffaloes, cows, fish ponds... With the desire to start a business, Ms. Gieng hopes that in the near future, she will be able to access capital from start-up support programs to expand production scale, creating more jobs for local workers.
Continuing to implement programs to accompany young people in establishing their careers, the Hua Na Commune Youth Union has helped local youth members awaken the potential and strengths of the locality, arousing the desire to start a business. This shows the will to rise up of young people who do not accept poverty in Hua Na.
