23 new grassroots trade unions were established.

Based on the assigned targets, in the first nine months of 2024, the labor federations of districts, towns, and cities, industry trade unions, and the Quang Tri Provincial Public Employees' Trade Union successfully established 23 new grassroots trade unions and recruited 401 members in these unions; and recruited 1,411 members in areas where grassroots trade unions already existed.

In the final months of 2024, the Provincial Labor Union continued to emphasize its role and responsibility in leading and directing units to effectively carry out the work of developing union membership and establishing grassroots trade unions. At the same time, it coordinated the development of work plans with enterprises that have a large number of workers who are not yet union members to promote, encourage, and attract new union members.
