On November 21, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province issued Decision No. 4614/QD-UBND approving the receipt of aid of 1,234,940 USD, equivalent to nearly 30 billion VND, to implement the project "Supporting community development in Vinh Loc district, Thanh Hoa province" sponsored by Good Neighbors International (GNI) Korea - Representative Office in Vietnam.
The project "Supporting community development in Vinh Loc district, Thanh Hoa province" has a total non-refundable aid capital from Good Neighbors International (GNI) Korea - Representative Office in Vietnam of 1,234,940 USD, equivalent to nearly 30 billion VND. The project is implemented in 07 communes: Vinh Long, Vinh An, Vinh Hung, Vinh Hung, Ninh Khang, Vinh Quang and Vinh Hoa, in Vinh Loc district. The implementation period of the aid is until December 31, 2027.

With the goal of contributing to improving the quality of life of children in Vinh Loc district, Thanh Hoa province, the project "Supporting community development in Vinh Loc district, Thanh Hoa province" aims for 5 results including:
Result 1: Children in difficult circumstances in the project area have access to quality child protection services; 3,068 children in the project area receive regular protection services provided by GNI; 100% of sponsored children receive protection and protection services from GNI; 80% of sponsored children in especially difficult circumstances receive timely support from GNI.
Result 2: Children have access to quality education and child protection conditions; 80% of students in schools in the project area benefit from educational support from GNI; 10 schools/educational institutions are supported with educational equipment by GNI; 03 knowledge and skills training programs are designed and implemented in schools; 04 reading culture festivals/children's rights and child protection festivals are organized at the district level.
Outcome 3: Community health conditions in the project area have improved; 6,968 people have benefited from GNI's health, water and sanitation support activities; 100% of sponsored children have regular health monitoring.
Result 4: Average income of households participating in GNI's livelihood activities is improved; At least 360 households participate in GNI's livelihood development support program; At least 02 products of households participating in GNI's livelihood program are supported to connect to the market.
Result 5: Children and community members receive timely and appropriate aid in goods/materials; At least 03 batches of goods/materials are given to children/people; 4,000 children/households receive goods/materials.
As a large-scale non-governmental organization, Good Neighbors International (GNI) was established in 1991 and operates in the fields of supporting children's education, community development, health, environmental sanitation and disaster relief projects. GNI is currently present in 37 countries, supporting about 17 million people, including about 10 million children. In Vietnam, GNI has been officially operating since 2005 and has sponsored more than 10,000 children.
