Thanh Hoa is ready for the 2025 high school graduation exam

Accordingly, the exam will take place over 4 days from June 25 to 28, 2025, with 85 exam sites located at high schools, general schools with many levels and vocationaleducation - continuing education centers, ensuring that each district, town and city has at least one exam site to facilitate candidates.

Notably, this year there will be two types of exams: exams according to the current General Education Program (for 12th graders in the 2024-2025 school year) and exams according to the 2006 General Education Program (for independent candidates who have graduated before).

The whole province has arranged 5 testing locations specifically for candidates taking the test according to the 2006 General Education Program at the Vocational Education and Continuing Education Centers of Ngoc Lac, Trieu Son, Yen Dinh, Quang Xuong and Hoang Hoa.

For candidates following the new program, the exam consists of 3 sessions: Literature (120 minutes), Math (90 minutes) and an optional exam of 2 subjects (each subject 50 minutes).

Candidates following the old program will take 5 exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and two combined exams (Natural Sciences or Social Sciences).

Registration time is from April 21 to 5:00 p.m. on April 28, 2025. The exam results are expected to be announced on July 16, 2025, and the high school graduation recognition will be completed before July 18, 2025.

The Provincial People's Committee has assigned specific tasks to relevant departments and branches to ensure the organization of the exam safely and seriously. The Provincial Police are responsible for ensuring security and safety for exam papers and exam papers; the Department of Health ensures health care for candidates and exam invigilators; the Department of Construction directs transportation units to meet the travel needs of candidates; other departments and branches coordinate to support candidates with electricity, water, communication and accommodation. In particular, the Youth Union is requested to implement the programs "Volunteer Students" and "Supporting the Exam Season" to support candidates and their relatives at exam sites, in order to ensure the exam is successful, and to prevent candidates from having no place to stay during the exam period.
