Hot weather in the coastal area of Hoang Hoa.
On April 18th, Thanh Hoa province experienced sunny weather, with hot and intensely hot conditions in mountainous areas. The highest daily air temperatures ranged from 31-33°C in the coastal plains and 35-37°C in the mountains, with some areas exceeding 37°C. The lowest daily relative humidity was between 55-65%.
From April 19th, the heatwave will spread to many areas. This heatwave is likely to last until April 21st or 22nd, 2024.
Due to the combined effects of intense heat and low humidity, there is a risk of fires and explosions in residential areas due to increased electricity demand, as well as a risk of forest fires. Furthermore, the heat can cause dehydration, exhaustion, and heatstroke in people who are exposed to high temperatures for extended periods.
Level 1 natural disaster risk warning due to heatwave.
