On the morning of February 26, all districts, towns, and cities of the province simultaneously held military enlistment ceremonies for 2024. This year's military enlistment ceremony was held solemnly, quickly, strictly, ensuring safety and in accordance with regulations.

In 2024, Thanh Hoa province was assigned by the Government to select 3,655 citizens to join the army. Of these, 3,214 citizens will perform military service and 441 citizens will join the People's Public Security service.
Among the citizens participating in military service, there are 5 female citizens. The enlisted citizens are assigned to 14 military receiving centers of the Ministry of National Defense, including: Army Corps 12; Hanoi Capital Command; Air Defense - Air Force; Navy; Provincial Border Guard Command; General Staff; General Department of Politics; General Department of Logistics; General Department of Engineering; Army Officer School 1; Division 324, Brigade 16; Brigade 206 and Regiment 762 of Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command (5 female citizens are sent to the Capital Command for training).
Among the citizens enlisting this time, the number of party members joining the army is much higher than in previous years. 638 party members joined the army, nearly 500 young people attended the Party awareness class; nearly 700 young people wrote applications to volunteer for military service.
The rate of young people graduating from high school reached 69.96%, the rate of young people graduating from university, college and vocational school was 186, reaching nearly 6%; the rate of young people from ethnic minorities joining the army reached 30.21%.

To encourage the spirit of young people leaving for military service, before and after the Lunar New Year 2024, Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels have organized many meaningful activities such as visiting, encouraging, giving gifts to young people leaving for military service, organizing meetings, exchanges, cultural and artistic activities...
In particular, localities also give savings books to young people with amounts ranging from 1 - 6.5 million VND/book.

With a spirit of urgency, seriousness and solemnity, at 8:45 a.m., the 2024 military enlistment ceremony in localities in Thanh Hoa province ended successfully, ensuring absolute safety from the work of receiving and delivering documents and handing over each citizen to the units, which was carried out quickly, neatly, safely and in accordance with regulations.
The young men got on the bus to return to their units, all excited and proud, vowing to follow the revolutionary tradition of their heroic homeland Thanh Hoa, striving, studying and training to become exemplary soldiers of the People's Army and People's Public Security of Vietnam.
