Thanh Hoa won second prize in the Fire Fighting and Rescue Sports Competition of Region III

On April 4, at Ho Chi Minh Square (Vinh City), the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the People's Committee of Nghe An province to organize the 2nd round of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Sports Competition - Region III.

This activity is within the framework of the 9th "For National Security" Sports Festival Program in 2025 organized by the Ministry of Public Security. The competition has 13 teams from the police of the following provinces: Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Da Nang City and Hue City.

The teams compete in both theory and practice in 3 categories: Firefighting and rescue command; rescue swimming; 4x100m firefighting and rescue relay race.

Athletes compete at the competition.

With high determination, the athletes from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department competed with all their might and achieved high results in the competition with the second prize for the whole team. The first prize belonged to Nghe An Provincial Police Department. The remaining overall prize belonged to Binh Dinh Provincial Police Department.

In addition, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police also won first prize in the swimming and rescue event; second prize in the firefighting and rescue command event; and third prize in the 4x100m firefighting and rescue relay event.

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the teams that achieved results at the 2nd round of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Sports Competition - Region III.

With this result, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police is one of three units in the Central Coastal Region to participate in the Final Round of the competition held in Hanoi in the near future.

The Fire Fighting and Rescue Sports Competition is a practical activity, not only to continue improving the skills and expertise of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force, but also to create a place for exchange and mutual learning between police forces of provinces and cities across the country...
