Thanh Hoa promotes production of handicraft products

Thanh Hoa currently has 78 thousand hectares of bamboo, rattan, and cane with a harvest output of about 193 million trees/year. Grasping the market demand, in recent years, bamboo and rattan production and processing facilities in Thanh Hoa have proactively invested in machinery, applied modern technology, aiming to produce, process, and export refined products, bringing high economic value and efficiency. Currently, the export market for bamboo and rattan products of Thanh Hoa province is mainly concentrated in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Europe, and North America. Thanh Hoa province currently has 37 bamboo and rattan production and processing facilities with enterprise and cooperative scale. The annual production value reaches nearly 600 billion VND, accounting for more than 28% of the forestry industry's production value.
