Thanh Hoa achieved the highest tourism revenue in the country during the April 30 - May 1 holiday

According to information from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), during the 5-day holiday from April 30 to May 1 (from April 27 to May 1), the tourism industry is estimated to serve about 8 million visitors, an increase of 14.2% over the same period in 2023.

Most key tourist areas across the country have recorded positive signals with a high increase in the number of visitors compared to the same period in 2023. Of which, Thanh Hoa served about 1.52 million visitors, an increase of 27.2%; total revenue from tourists reached about 3,805 billion VND, an increase of 32.8%, being the leading locality in tourism revenue during the recent April 30 - May 1 holiday.

The next positions are Ho Chi Minh City with 3,235 billion VND; Hanoi with 2,500 billion VND; Quang Ninh with 2,210 billion VND; Nghe An with 1,700 billion VND; Da Nang with 1,336 billion VND; Khanh Hoa with 1,306 billion VND.

The sea square, the festival landscape axis of Sam Son city has just been inaugurated.

In 2024, with the aim of welcoming 13.8 million visitors and total tourism revenue reaching 32,387 trillion VND, localities, areas and tourist destinations in Thanh Hoa province will organize 145 typical cultural, sports and tourism activities and events; of which, there are 85 cultural events, 30 sports events and 30 tourism events held throughout the four seasons.
