During the visit, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet acknowledged and commended the spirit of solidarity and efforts to overcome difficulties of ethnic minorities in Nam Giang district, especially village elders, village chiefs and prestigious people.
At the same time, the key role of village cadres and prestigious people on the border line in propaganda and mobilizing people to contribute to building and developing the local socio-economy was highly appreciated. Thereby, the task of protecting the border, strengthening patrols and controls, building poverty reduction models, and improving people's knowledge was completed.
According to Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, in recent times, the Party, State, organizations and individuals have always turned to the people in mountainous areas, remote areas and disadvantaged areas. Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet hopes that village elders and prestigious people in ethnic minorities in Nam Giang district will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, set good examples, mobilize and propagate people to comply with the law, participate in border protection, strive to develop the socio-economy, and escape poverty.
