Thanh Chung, Hai Long, Tuan Hai inspire young players in Ho Chi Minh City

On the morning of April 20, Saigon Football Academy (SFA) organized the program "Exchange with Vietnam national players" for its young students at MSC football field (Thu Duc City).

The program was attended by three national players: center back Nguyen Thanh Chung, midfielder Nguyen Hai Long and striker Pham Tuan Hai. In addition, there was also Vietnam team doctor Tran Huy Tho and former Vietnam team goalkeeper coach Nguyen The Anh - head of SFA.

The program not only aims to inspire young players who are gradually pursuing a professional football career, but also creates opportunities for students to interact and learn directly from famous professional players of Vietnamese football.

Former goalkeeper coach Nguyen The Anh shared: "We believe that, for a player to develop comprehensively, in addition to technique and tactics, physical and mental health also need to be trained in parallel.

Therefore, SFA not only focuses on football skills, but also builds a healthy playground where children can develop physically, practice discipline, learn team spirit and pursue their passion in a sustainable way."

The young players of the U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 groups of SFA were very excited to interact and play football with the national players Thanh Chung, Hai Long and Tuan Hai.

For his part, striker Pham Tuan Hai shared: "I feel very honored to attend the exchange, watching the children play football is a happiness for me and the brothers here.

Having a playground for 5 and 6 year olds is a very good development for SFA. Before, I did not have such an environment. Therefore, this will be a motivation to help the children have the best development conditions."

SFA was founded in 2012 by former Vietnam national team goalkeeper coach Nguyen The Anh, with the aspiration of becoming a place to nurture young football talents in Vietnam.
