Workers' Month 2025: Many practical activities for union members and workers

According to Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, one of the main activities in the Workers' Month 2025 is the Program "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era" with a series of events: "Creative Labor Festival 2025", competitions to propose ideas, initiatives, technical solutions to innovate production processes; save raw materials, fuel, time, labor; new methods, good models in modern business management; content and methods of union activities at the grassroots level. Honoring and praising workers with achievements in labor, production with many initiatives and creativity; achieving high achievements in competitions of skilled workers.

The program “Dialogue in May” and the Forum “Party with Workers - Workers with the Party” were held before the Party Congress at the same level to listen to and solve workers’ problems; absorb and implement the Party’s instructions…

The program "Thank you workers" is raised to a new level, associated with practical support policies.

In particular, the Peak Month for developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions (CCCs) has been expanded with the content of "introducing and developing party members and workers", aiming to foster young, high-quality human resources for the Party.

According to Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, the activities in Workers' Month 2025 aim to affirm the role, position and contribution of the working class in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland; as a pioneering force in the cause of national innovation, creative labor, confidently entering a new era - the era of national development. At the same time, thereby raising the awareness and responsibility of the whole society in caring for, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests, improving the living and working conditions of workers, honoring and promoting workers in the new development stage of the country.

Workers' Month is also an opportunity to encourage workers to actively study, improve their qualifications and skills, change careers, approach modern labor trends, adapt to the context of international integration and the 4th Industrial Revolution, and prepare for a new stage of development of the country.

To ensure the success of the program, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requires: Strive to have 55% or more of grassroots trade unions in all types of enterprises have at least 01 activity responding to Workers' Month; 35% or more of grassroots trade unions in administrative agencies and public service units have at least 01 appropriate activity responding to Workers' Month in 2025.

The adjustments in the plan to organize Workers' Month 2025 demonstrate the innovation of the Trade Union organization and affirm the pioneering role of workers in the context of the country entering a higher stage of development. Key programs such as "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era", "Party Forum with workers - Workers with the Party", along with promoting innovation and digital transformation will help improve the status of workers.
