Visiting and supporting people of Ga Ry commune affected by natural disasters

As reported, at around 12:30 on April 22, in Ga Ry commune, heavy rain, hail and strong winds occurred, damaging the houses of 17 households in Da'ding village; of which 5 houses collapsed completely, 2 houses had their roofs completely blown off and moved 2m, many other houses had their corrugated iron sheets blown away and were tilted. Fortunately, there were no human casualties.

Visiting the affected families, Ms. Le Thi Minh Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association and representatives of the Tay Giang District People's Committee shared and encouraged the families to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their housing.

The Provincial Farmers' Association provided support to 5 households whose houses had their roofs blown off or completely collapsed (1 million VND/household) from the Fund to support farmers affected by natural disasters and hardships, which was contributed by members annually. Tay Giang District allocated its budget to support 17 affected households (1 million VND/household) along with necessities.

The locality also mobilized armed forces and farmers' association members to quickly support families to overcome the consequences, repair houses, and help people stabilize their lives soon.
