The Foire de Paris (Paris Fair) is a major event held annually in Paris since 1904, usually lasting from late April to early May. The fair offers a wide variety of products to the public. Every year, the Paris Fair attracts more than 40 countries to participate and is expected to welcome about 400,000 people who come not only to shop but also to meet talented artisans and discover new and innovative products for everyday life.

In previous fairs, the Vietnam area has attracted a large number of French and international visitors not only because of its traditional handicraft products but also because of its culinary flavors and unique ethnic cultural programs.

In 2024, the Vietnamese Cultural Center in France coordinated with businesses and the Fair Organizing Committee to carry out a program to promote Vietnamese culture, tourism, handicrafts and culinary products.

Nearly 30 booths of Vietnamese businesses introduced a variety of products: from sophisticated handicrafts, silk products, brocade, to fruit jams, tea, dragon fruit, pineapple, jackfruit and even sandwiches with Vietnamese flavors, creating a colorful and prominent space in the Asian building of the Paris Fair.

The fair is not only a good opportunity to promote traditional Vietnamese specialties to French consumers, but also a way to spread the image of Vietnam by combining trade with promoting Vietnamese culture right at the fair.
