Join the “Protect the Island” program, MoMo users learn how to protect their accounts

The "Protect the Island" program on MoMo will take place from June 25 to July 25, 2024, helping users equip themselves with knowledge about security and safety, thereby knowing how to set up a protective wall for their own accounts.

Following the project "Learning about security with MoMo" initiated in May 2024, the program "Protecting the island" continues to be MoMo's innovative and creative effort in raising awareness for users in addition to proactively providing multi-layered protection throughout the user's usage process.

The program “Protect the Island” on MoMo breaks the stereotype that learning about security is difficult and boring, instead it is fun and effective. Accordingly, in the program, each user will play the role of an “island lord” whose mission is to protect his beautiful island and his honest people from enemy attacks.

To protect the beautiful island, the "island lords" need to overcome the challenge of answering 5 questions correctly to close 5 gates corresponding to 5 entrances, to block the enemy's attack route. Each entrance to close the gate will have a different knowledge topic about security, related to Account Identification; Biometric Authentication; Facial Authentication; Strong Password and OTP Code.

When the “island lord” correctly answers a question corresponding to the specified topic, the gate will be successfully closed and the island will be firmly protected. Therefore, the “island lords” need to read the question carefully to answer correctly, so that the “island” will not suffer any damage.

During the process of building the island's protective wall, the "island lords" are taught about safety and security through vivid illustrations and simple, creative language. Situations that challenge the "island lords'" understanding of the lesson are gracefully and intimately integrated through real-life stories.

In particular, when completing 5 tasks within 24 hours of starting the program, the "island lords" will receive a bonus of up to 10 million VND from the program. The "Island Protection" program also demonstrates MoMo's efforts in multi-layered security protection with integrated AI to help protect users' accounts up to 99.9999% against the risk of account fraud and theft.
