The Ca Temple - Dinh Do Quan Hoang Muoi in Hau Den Hamlet, Trung Luong Ward, Hong Linh Town is also known as Mo Hac Temple or Mo Hac Linh Tu.
According to historical documents, the temple was built during the Ly Dynasty. The temple has a massive architectural scale, built in the shape of the letter "Nhat" including: the harem (also known as the forbidden palace), the upper palace, the middle palace and the lower palace.
In the past, this was the largest temple in the whole district, so it was called the Great Temple. The name Dinh Do Quan Hoang Muoi was named after the main character worshiped at the temple.
The temple was built on a prime land, located at the intersection of three rivers (Lam River, La River and Minh River). The location of the temple was built by all three rivers, creating a land shaped like a crane's beak. Therefore, it is often called Mo Hac Temple or Mo Hac Linh Tu by the people, meaning a temple on sacred land.
Through the ups and downs of history, the temple was seriously degraded and became a ruin. In 2014, with the permission of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh, after a short time, with the contributions of businesses, entrepreneurs, philanthropists and especially the local people, the basic items of the Temple were gradually restored.
Like other temples, the people worship many gods together. Among them are angels, human gods and natural gods. Specifically: In addition to the main god worshiped, Hoang Muoi, the temple also worships Tam Lang god, or Le Thi Ngoc Dung, the adopted daughter of King Le Loi. In the photo: Quan Hoang Muoi shrine.
