Speaking at the opening ceremony of the program, Mr. Ngo The Hoan - Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Farmers' Association affirmed: In order to honor outstanding farmers who innovate in production and business, in 2024, for the first time, the Thai Nguyen Farmers' Association will develop a plan and organize a program to honor outstanding Thai Nguyen Farmers.
Thai Nguyen Farmers' Association will organize this activity regularly to encourage and motivate members and farmers in production and business activities, to be creative, apply technology, and achieve high efficiency in production and business, have ecological agricultural models, be environmentally friendly, have circular agricultural models, and produce according to the value chain; participate in building modern countryside, civilized farmers, be active in the movement to build new countryside and protect national security and sovereignty.
On this occasion, the Thai Nguyen Farmers' Association honored 9 outstanding farmers in production and business in the area. The individuals include:
Mr. Hoang Xuan Thuy (TDP 5, Song Cau town, Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province), tea production, processing and trading model, revenue of 2.8 billion VND in 2023;
Ms. Tong Thi Xuyen (Trung Thanh 2 hamlet, Vo Tranh commune, Phu Luong district), tea production, processing and trading model, revenue of 5.2 billion VND;
Mr. Bui Duc Tuan (Lang Lai hamlet, La Hien commune, Vo Nhai district, Thai Nguyen province), integrated economic model of raising chickens, raising commercial pigs, and planting forestry trees, revenue of 3.5 billion VND in 2023;
Mr. Duong Xuan Truong (Pham hamlet, Duong Thanh commune, Phu Binh district), model of raising and processing horse products, revenue of 19 billion VND in 2023;
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien (Dong Tien hamlet, La Bang commune, Dai Tu district), production and business model of tea products, revenue of 23.9 billion VND in 2023;
Mr. Nguyen Van Uy (Hoa Binh Residential Group, Tien Phong Ward, Pho Yen City), integrated livestock production model of egg-laying chickens, incubating eggs, providing breeds, raising commercial goats and trading in animal feed, revenue of 25.2 billion VND in 2023;
Ms. Vu Thi Tuyet Nhung (Pha Residential Group, Luong Son Ward, Song Cong City), integrated economic model of chicken farming, pig farming, medicine trading, veterinary services, revenue of 10 billion VND in 2023;
Mr. Bui Trong Dai (Hong Thai 2 hamlet, Tan Cuong commune, Thai Nguyen city), value chain linkage model from production to consumption of tea products combined with community tourism, revenue of 6.2 billion VND in 2023;
Mr. Bui Van Thanh (Hong Van Luong hamlet, Trung Luong commune, Dinh Hoa district), integrated economic model of raising wild boars, hill chickens, deer, fish, tea production, afforestation, fruit trees, revenue of 1.42 billion VND in 2023.

Also on this occasion, the Thai Nguyen Farmers' Association honored 22 typical agricultural products of Thai Nguyen province for the 7th time in 2024. This is an activity to promote and connect product consumption, encourage the creativity of farmers, cooperatives and enterprises in developing high-quality agricultural production areas with brands and great economic value, actively contributing to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" and playing an important role in the National Target Program on new rural construction.

In addition, the Thai Nguyen Farmers' Association also organized an award ceremony for authors with good and creative initiatives in the Thai Nguyen Provincial Technical Innovation Contest 2023 - 2024, including 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes and 4 Encouragement prizes.
This is the 12th time the Thai Nguyen Provincial Technical Innovation Contest has been held to find inventions, research, and creativity in applying science, technology, and advanced techniques to farmers' labor and production, helping to increase efficiency, improve production, and develop sustainable agriculture.
These innovations not only help reduce labor and save costs, but also improve productivity and product quality, contributing to promoting agricultural economy, protecting the environment and improving people's lives.

Also at the program, the Executive Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Farmers' Association awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in leadership, direction, propaganda, mobilization, and implementation of guidance for cadres and members to participate in the Association's programs.
Along with that, within the framework of the program, the Thai Nguyen Farmers' Association launched the Thai Nguyen Farmers' Association's identity uniform. The use of uniforms helps enhance the organization's reputation, improve working spirit and contribute to increasing solidarity within the Association, making cadres and members more attached to the Association, especially during major events and activities of the Association.
