Accordingly, the Project is invested by the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Agricultural Works and Rural Development; the construction period is in the period of 2024 - 2025. The total cost of the project is expected to be 25 billion VND, of which the provincial and central budget reserve is 22 billion VND; the provincial Disaster Prevention and Control Fund is 3 billion VND.

The project, once completed, will overcome the situation of landslides on the Cau River bank, ensuring the safety of life, property and infrastructure for 18 households in Thanh Dam hamlet (Nha Long commune, Phu Binh district). At the same time, it will prevent and mitigate damage caused by flood flows, ensure social security, contribute to local socio-economic development; improve the ecological landscape of the riverbank area.
Previously, due to the impact of floods in August and September, many sections of the riverbank in Thanh Dam and Non hamlets of Nha Long commune suffered serious landslides, endangering the lives and property of people living around the area. In response to this situation, during the floods, the local authorities organized the evacuation of people to safe places and made plans to overcome the consequences.
