Thanks to the effective implementation of socio-economic development policies, promoting the transformation of rural economic structure, encouraging cooperative and farm models, and applying science and technology to production, the average income per capita in Thai Binh rural areas in 2024 is estimated to reach 67,344 million VND/person/year, an increase of 1.34 times compared to 2020 (50.1 million VND/person/year).
The scarf weaving village of Phuong La commune (Hung Ha) creates jobs for many workers in rural areas.
Continuing the growth momentum, the province aims to increase the average income per capita in rural areas by 2025 to about 75 million VND/person/year, 1.5 times higher than in 2020.
To achieve this goal, the province continues to implement synchronous solutions, focusing on: Promoting sustainable restructuring of the agricultural sector, developing commodity production linked to the market, encouraging the application of high technology, expanding value chain linkage models. In addition, effectively implementing sustainable poverty reduction policies, supporting poor and near-poor households, creating conditions for people to access preferential loans, vocational training, job creation, contributing to improving the quality of life for rural people, while affirming the sustainable development of Thai Binh's rural economy, towards the goal of building increasingly rich and civilized rural areas.
