TH Group (owner of the fresh milk brand TH true MILK) was honored as Top Strong Brand Enterprise with Green Growth 2024.
The 21st Vietnam Strong Brands announcement and honoring ceremony was held on the afternoon of October 16 in Hanoi. With the theme "Pioneering Green Investment", the 2024 Vietnam Strong Brand Program surveyed, reviewed, announced and honored business brands with outstanding achievements in production, business, trade and service activities towards green growth and sustainable development.
The 2024 evaluation criteria focus on the strategies, action programs and business performance results achieved, clearly demonstrating the process of: digital transformation; green transformation, developing production models towards energy saving, prioritizing the use of clean energy; protecting the brand and focusing on promoting policies towards employees and social responsibility to the community.

The 2024 Strong Brand Voting Council evaluated the reasons for choosing TH: " TH Group Joint Stock Company is a pioneer in implementing circular economy and green economy on the basis of sustainable development. The enterprise applies high technology and management science, digital transformation, and green transformation to the production and business process to bring international quality products while ensuring benefits for stakeholders, in which the most important factors are the environment and the community".
At the Program, within the framework of the Vietnam New Economy Forum 2024, Mr. Ngo Minh Hai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TH Group - shared many initiatives to integrate green economy and green transformation into the digital transformation process at the Group, so that these two processes go hand in hand, closely linked and support each other, creating a sustainable, low-emission and circular production process. This is the orientation for a concept called "new economy" which emphasizes the revolution in the field of digital transformation associated with green transformation.

"In fact, at TH Group, digital technology and the circular economy model - green economy have been implemented since the establishment of the business, and are two processes closely connected to each other. Digital technology and high technology have contributed to making the circular economy and sustainable development at TH more effective and powerful," said Mr. Ngo Minh Hai.
Typical examples of digital technology applied in TH from 12-15 years ago include: Chip system worn on cows' legs/necks to monitor health, milk production, estrus time, thereby managing reproduction for dairy cows; Software for serving rations, mixing, processing and providing feed for dairy cows completely automatically by 100% computerization; SAP management system in administration; Waste and wastewater treatment technology.

In farming, some examples include: smart apps that measure soil moisture and automatic irrigation systems. Application of information technology in planning raw material areas: all plots of land in the raw material area are synchronized into the map system and Google Map to determine the optimal farming direction for high-capacity farming machines.
And up to now, TH continues to update new technologies to optimize productivity, product quality, optimize work performance and increase cooperation efficiency, ready to change to meet new market requirements.
Regarding Green Transformation, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TH affirmed: "If talking about green transformation, it is more accurate to say that the green economic model and circular economy at TH Group were implemented from the beginning, such as building a waste treatment system with the world's leading modern technologies and equipment. Since 2014, TH has had a manure separator, which has processed farm waste into microbial fertilizers. Up to now, TH has an organic fertilizer factory, whose products are not only used in the Group's farming but also sold to the market."
TH cows wear a strap on their legs to monitor many indicators related to health, estrus time, etc.
Each farm cluster has its own wastewater treatment plant, with a capacity of 1,200 to 2,500 m³/day and night. Starting from 2020, solar panels will be installed: producing about 8 million kWh/year, equivalent to reducing 5,000-6,000 tons of CO2 emissions/year. TH also participates in the Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance, collecting packaging for recycling. Many initiatives aim to reduce plastic in production, such as: replacing nylon bags with bags made from environmentally friendly bioplastic, removing shrink wrap on bottle caps, reducing the weight of plastic on each water bottle, reducing the thickness of the label covering the bottle, even reducing the amount of glue on the straw, all within the limit of not affecting the quality and design of the product while still reducing plastic waste.

At the same time, we develop while ensuring the principle of taking Mother Nature as the foundation and following the direction of sustainable development" - Mr. Hai shared.
