In front of the main gate, workers are replacing the flowerbeds in the landscaped areas to create a fresh look. Along the main thoroughfares, flags and banners flutter everywhere, and ornamental plants are neatly trimmed.

On the mountaintop, workers are cleaning up and planting more beautiful flowers such as azaleas, roses, and tulips. This year's Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival will be like stepping into a flower paradise for visitors, with over 115,000 tulip plants planted in several batches.

Visiting the summit of Ba Den Mountain any day in January, tourists can take photos with the unique flowers from the Netherlands, in a variety of colors including red, yellow, white, pink, purple, with white edges, and with yellow edges…

In recent years, tulips have become a distinctive feature of Ba Den Mountain. Besides that, the "roof of Southern Vietnam" is also home to countless other flowers that bloom during springtime, such as exotic roses in various colors, chrysanthemums, daisies, impatiens, orchids, kalanchoe, hydrangeas, begonias, and more.

Besides getting lost in a paradise of flowers, visitors can also immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of unique Tay Ninh art programs, with Chhay-dam drum dances, Khmer dances, and traditional five-tone music performed by Tay Ninh artisans.

The world's largest statue of Maitreya Bodhisattva is located here, where visitors can offer their wishes for a peaceful and happy new year.

Spring Festival throughout the month of January

Ms. Dao Thi Viet, Deputy Director of Sun World Ba Den Mountain, said that this year's Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival will be organized on a large scale, lasting throughout January, with a series of festivals such as the Vietnam-Japan Cultural Week, lantern exhibition, and leaf market... Currently, the unit is urgently completing the investment in landscaping, spaces, artistic lanterns, and diverse and unique art performances to bring a joyful spring atmosphere to visitors.

With the theme "The Beauty of Tay Ninh," the opening ceremony of the Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival 2025 will be held on a large scale at the square near the Ba Den Mountain cable car station at 7 PM on the 4th day of Tet (February 1, 2025). This year's artistic program will feature lion and dragon dances, along with a unique combination of traditional melodies and vibrant modern music – representing a fresh and dynamic Tay Ninh.

The temple complex is decorated with flags, flowers, and colorful lanterns, ready to welcome visitors during the first days of the new year.

The program is expected to feature singers Tung Duong, Phuc Bo, Tran Ngoc Anh (winner of The Voice 2018), Tieu Minh Phung, and the MTV band… Besides songs with a spring theme, visitors will immerse themselves in the energy of youth with lively remixes or hit songs currently on the music market such as Rebirth (Tang Duy Tan), What's There to Be Afraid Of Shine, a mashup of Colorful Vietnam & Fly…

This year's festival stage also features a unique design inspired by the image of "Flowers blooming on high mountains," evoking the harmonious blend of the majestic nature of the highest mountain in Southern Vietnam and the delicate beauty of spring. At the center of the stage is a giant LED screen shaped like a blooming flower, with petals programmed to display dynamic lighting, creating a vivid visual effect from the movement of colors. Surrounding it are tiered LED displays symbolizing the steps leading to the summit of the mountain known as the "foremost mountain of the world."

Along with spectacular artistic performances, this year's opening ceremony of the Ba Mountain Spring Festival also featured a breathtaking fireworks display, with many high-altitude fireworks displays boasting completely new and beautiful designs compared to previous years. The temples in the Ba Mountain temple complex, from the foot to the middle of the mountain, were also decorated with flags, flowers, and lanterns, ready to welcome millions of Tay Ninh residents and visitors from all over to pray for a prosperous and peaceful new year.

Many attractive cultural and artistic activities take place in front of the statue of the Goddess of Mercy on Mount Tây Bổ Đà.

Ms. Viet added: “2025 marks the 5th anniversary of Sun World Ba Den Mountain, and we will organize many activities to attract tourists as well as gifts as a token of gratitude to visitors.”

This year, we continue to invest more in cultural activities to enhance the visitor experience, such as cultural weeks and illuminated spaces. Intangible cultural heritage is also continuously preserved and promoted on the summit of Ba Den Mountain.

With continuous innovation in tourism products, we hope that in 2025, the number of visitors to Ba Den Mountain will increase significantly compared to 2024. We hope that visitors to Ba Den Mountain will not only come to the spiritual mountain but also explore the ancient cultural layers of Tay Ninh province.”

Along with many unique cultural and artistic experiences on the mountaintop, this year's Ba Mountain Spring Festival promises to be one of the most attractive destinations for tourists from near and far in the early days of the new year.
