The Mang Den Art Garden project, covering an area of nearly 3 hectares, is a new product of Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province, serving tourists during the National Day holiday on September 2. Here, more than 500 folk wooden statues, combined with driftwood and natural pebbles, are harmoniously arranged under the canopy of ancient pine trees, creating a unique cultural and artistic space.
Traveling from Hanoi to Mang Den with her family during the holiday, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa shared: "This place is beautiful from the climate, the natural scenery and the people. The Central Highlands in general and Mang Den in particular are extremely wonderful. September 2 is Independence Day, we want to come to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mang Den and learn about the history of Mang Den and the Central Highlands."
Promoting the cultural and historical values of the land of “seven lakes and three waterfalls”, during the National Day holiday on September 2 this year, Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province organized a series of events to welcome tourists. Along with exploring the Mang Den wilderness, visitors can immerse themselves in the space of gong and xoang culture; enjoy culinary culture at the Mang Den fair; and immerse themselves in famous works with the breath of the wilderness by artists…
To better serve tourists when coming to Mang Den, Mr. Pham Van Thang - Vice Chairman of Kon Plong District People's Committee said that the district has just put two tourist support centers into operation right before the holiday: "In fact, Mang Den is also newly formed and is also a new tourist destination. Therefore, the experience in attracting tourists as well as creating satisfaction for tourists is still limited. The two tourist centers aim to create the most convenience for tourists when coming to Mang Den".
During the first 3 days of the National Day holiday on September 2, more than 100 accommodation establishments with the capacity to serve more than 5,000 overnight guests in Mang Den National Eco-tourism Area, Kon Plong District, Kon Tum Province were all fully booked. Motels and homestays in the suburbs, such as Kon Chenh village, Mang Canh commune; Kon Vong Kia, Kon Pring, Mang Den town... were also mobilized to serve the accommodation needs of tourists.
