On April 24, the People's Council of Binh Duong province, term X, 2021-2026, held the 23rd session (special session) and voted to pass 14 important resolutions in many fields.
Among the resolutions passed, there is a resolution on the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units in the province.
Specifically, after careful review and consideration, Binh Duong province has rearranged 91 existing communes, wards and towns into 36 new commune-level administrative units, with the goal of streamlining the management apparatus, improving operational effectiveness and efficiency and creating more favorable conditions for local socio -economic development.
Accordingly, the People's Council of Binh Duong province has passed a resolution to establish new commune-level administrative units as follows:
Establish Dong Hoa ward on the basis of merging Binh An, Binh Thang and Dong Hoa wards. Headquarters are expected to be located in the current Binh An ward.
Establish Di An ward on the basis of merging Di An ward, An Binh ward and Chieu Lieu, Chieu Lieu A, Dong Chieu, Dong Chieu A, Tan Long, Dong Tac quarters of Tan Dong Hiep ward. Headquarters located at the current People's Committee of Di An city (this is a key ward of Di An area).
Establish Tan Dong Hiep ward on the basis of merging Tan Binh ward and Dong Thanh, Dong An, Tan An neighborhoods of Tan Dong Hiep ward; Ba Dinh, Tan Ba, My Hiep, Tan My neighborhoods of Thai Hoa ward (Tan Uyen city). Headquarters located in the current Tan Binh ward.
Establish Thuan An ward on the basis of merging An Son commune and Hung Dinh and An Thanh wards. Headquarters located in Hung Dinh ward.
Establish Thuan Giao ward on the basis of merging Thuan Giao ward and Binh Quoi A, Binh Quoi B, Binh Phu neighborhoods of Binh Chuan ward. Headquarters in Binh Chuan ward.
Establish Binh Hoa ward on the basis of merging Binh Hoa ward and Trung, Dong, Phu Hoi neighborhoods of Vinh Phu ward. Headquarters located in Binh Hoa ward.
Establish Lai Thieu ward on the basis of merging Lai Thieu ward, Binh Nham ward and Hoa Long and Tay quarters of Vinh Phu ward. Headquarters at the current People's Committee of Thuan An city (this is a key ward of Thuan An area).
An Phu ward was established on the basis of merging An Phu ward and Binh Phuoc A and Binh Phuoc B neighborhoods of Binh Chuan ward. Headquarters were located in An Phu ward.
Establish Binh Duong ward on the basis of merging Hoa Phu, Phu My, Phu Tan, Phu Chanh wards. Headquarters in Hoa Phu ward (key ward of Binh Duong).
Establishing Chanh Hiep ward on the basis of merging Dinh Hoa ward, Tuong Binh Hiep ward and wards 7, 8, 9 of Hiep An ward; wards Chanh Loc 3, Chanh Loc 4, Chanh Loc 5, Chanh Loc 6, My Hao 1, My Hao 2 of Chanh My ward. Headquarters in Tuong Binh Hiep ward.
Establish Thu Dau Mot ward on the basis of merging Phu Cuong, Phu Tho, Chanh Nghia wards and residential areas 1, 2, 3, 4 of Hiep Thanh ward; residential areas Chanh Loc 1, Chanh Loc 2, Chanh Loc 7 of Chanh My ward. Headquarters at Thu Dau Mot City People's Committee (this is a key ward of Thu Dau Mot area).
Establish Phu Loi ward on the basis of merging Phu Loi ward, Phu Hoa ward and wards 5, 6, 7, 8 of Hiep Thanh ward. Headquarters in Phu Hoa ward.
Establish Vinh Tan ward on the basis of merging Tan Binh town and Vinh Tan ward. Headquarters in Vinh Tan ward.

Establishment of Tay Nam ward: merging Kien An and Ho Can hamlets of An Lap commune (Dau Tieng district); Cho, Lam Vo, Go Moi, Xom Lam, Xom Bung, Xom Ben, Suoi Cat, Le Danh Cat, Bung Cong, Rach Kien of Thanh Tuyen commune (Dau Tieng district) and An Tay ward (Ben Cat city). Headquarters in An Tay ward.
Establishment of Long Nguyen ward: merging Long Nguyen commune, An Dien ward and residential area 1 of My Phuoc ward. Headquarters in An Dien ward.
Establishment of Ben Cat ward: merging Tan Hung and Lai Hung communes and wards 2, 3, 4, 5 of My Phuoc ward. Headquarters located at Ben Cat City People's Committee (this is a key ward of Ben Cat area).
