Tay Ninh has 139 OCOP products from 3 stars and above

By the end of 2024, the whole province has 139 OCOP products with 3 stars or more, specifically: 97 3-star products, 36 4-star products (including 1 potential 5-star product, being submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for evaluation and classification of national OCOP products) and 6 proposed 4-star products are being evaluated by the Advisory Board of the Tay Ninh Provincial OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council.

During the year, the province supported 2 points of introduction and sale of OCOP products of the province for 2 business households, OCOP TG and Van Linh Huong stores; supported packaging costs, printing stamps for 8 products, with a total support budget of about 247.5 million VND.

In general, OCOP products have improved in quality, design, packaging to ensure the conditions of stamps, labels, and traceability of products. Enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative groups, and production and business establishments have initially seen the benefits of the program, are interested in responding, implementing, and creating better dissemination. The system of partners of the OCOP program, experts, and enterprises has gradually connected, forming a support channel for participating entities.

To develop OCOP products sustainably, Tay Ninh has been focusing on the production linkage policy between farmers, businesses and cooperatives. The linkage chains help people access advanced production techniques, while ensuring product quality according to OCOP standards. Cooperatives also play an important role in purchasing, processing and consuming products, helping farmers feel secure in production, without worrying about product output.

Many OCOP Tay Ninh products are trusted and chosen by consumers.

In addition, building a value chain is a decisive factor in increasing the value of OCOP products. Products do not stop at the cultivation stage, but are also put into stages such as deep processing, packaging and distribution. This helps Tay Ninh OCOP products not only have good quality but also have eye-catching appearance, creating strong attraction to the consumer market.

In the coming time, the province will continue to support the introduction of OCOP products through e-commerce platforms, online sales channels, direct interactive sales; coordinate to introduce entities participating in promotion activities, promoting OCOP products on the media; participate in fairs displaying OCOP products organized by the province and other localities.
