Báo điện tử VOVBáo điện tử VOV01/11/2024

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee directed to strictly prohibit the exploitation of aquatic products and the trading and consumption of aquatic products originating from Dau Tieng Lake from November 7 to December 7, 2024.

This is to protect the newly released fish fry, giving the fish fry time to develop and move to further water areas to maximize the effectiveness of the 2024 fish fry release.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development shall preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Police; People's Committees of Duong Minh Chau and Tan Chau districts; Southern Irrigation Exploitation Company Limited and relevant agencies to organize inspections and handle violations according to the provisions of law.

Relevant localities notify households participating in fishing in communes along Dau Tieng Lake to clearly understand the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on banning fishing; direct functional units to inspect and handle violations. Communes along Dau Tieng Lake are responsible for inspecting and reviewing the number of vehicles participating in fishing in the area; mobilizing people to sign a commitment not to fish during the fishing ban period.

It is known that on November 8 and 9, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tay Ninh coordinated with relevant units to release fish fry into Dau Tieng Lake to regenerate and restore aquatic resources; protect the water environment; stabilize life, and increase income for people exploiting aquatic products.
