Little-known Japanese golfer wins Evian Championship

Evian Championship is a major tournament (the most prestigious golf tournaments, equivalent to the Grand Slam tournaments in tennis), so golfers participate in this tournament with great determination.

At the end of the final day (July 15), Ayaka Furue won the championship with a total score of -19 strokes. The Japanese golfer's achievement was exactly one point better than the second place, Stephanie Kyriacou.

In third place is famous Thai golfer Patty Tavatanakit, she has a total score of -17 strokes. In fourth place is Lauren Coughlin (USA), with a total score of -15 strokes. Lauren Coughlin is also the highest-ranked American golfer at the Evian Championship 2024.
