Newsweek magazine published a map of the locations of US and Chinese aircraft carriers in the Asia-Pacific on February 7, showing that one US ship left the East Sea and entered the Pacific Ocean, while three Chinese ships did not leave port.

As of February 7, a map updated by Newsweek shows the locations of US aircraft carriers in the Asia-Pacific. Two of China’s three aircraft carriers are still at base, and one is undergoing maintenance in dry dock.
US Navy
USS Carl Vinson : Sibutu Strait
The aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson, which had been operating in the South China Sea, passed south through the Sibutu Strait into waters southwest of the Philippines, according to satellite imagery. The strait connects the Sulu Sea with the Sulawesi Sea.
The Carl Vinson aircraft carrier strike group will participate in the Pacific Steller 2025 exercise, taking place in Philippine waters from February 8.
