(NLDO)- While 5 workers were cleaning, an oil tanker parked on the Boi River (Ninh Binh) suddenly exploded and caught fire, injuring 3 people.
On January 3, news from the People's Committee of Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh province confirmed that an oil tanker fire had just occurred on the Boi River.

According to initial information, the incident occurred at around 10:00 a.m. on January 3, on the Boi River, in Lien Minh village, Xich Tho commune, Nho Quan district.
At the time of the incident, there were 5 people on board cleaning and maintaining the ship when suddenly the ship exploded and caught fire. In just a few minutes, the entire ship was engulfed in flames, with black smoke billowing high into the air.
Fortunately, the 5 workers were able to escape, however 3 people were burned and received first aid at Xich Tho Commune Health Station.
The fire burned down the ship, fortunately there were no casualties.
Upon receiving the news, the authorities arrived at the scene to coordinate in extinguishing the fire.
Immediately afterwards, Nho Quan district authorities and Xich Tho commune’s local forces arrived at the scene to handle the incident. After 30 minutes, the fire was under control.
Currently, there are no specific statistics on property damage and the police are investigating and clarifying the cause of the incident.
