According to a quick report, on the same morning, a fishing boat of local fishermen while moving in the Sa Huynh sea area of ​​Long Thanh residential group, Pho Thanh ward, Duc Pho town, was sunk by large waves.

Initial investigations determined that there were four fishermen on board the fishing boat. The sinking left one fisherman missing, and one drowning victim was rescued and taken to a nearby medical facility for emergency treatment. The remaining two were given emergency treatment and are in stable condition.

Currently, authorities are mobilizing rescue agencies to find ways to approach and rescue the missing fishing boat and fishermen.

According to the Quang Ngai Hydrometeorological Center, the area has had heavy and very heavy rain in recent days. The sea has big waves and strong gusts of wind.
