On November 23, the leader of the People's Committee of Duc Pho Town (Quang Ngai) said that a fishing boat had just sunk in the area, injuring many fishermen and leaving one person missing.

Authorities and local fishermen are trying to search for the missing person.

According to a quick report, on the same morning, a fishing boat of local fishermen while traveling in the Sa Huynh sea area of ​​Long Thanh residential group, Pho Thanh ward, Duc Pho town, was sunk by large waves.

Initial investigations determined that there were four fishermen on board the fishing boat. The sinking left one fisherman missing, and one drowning case was rescued and taken to a nearby medical facility for emergency treatment. The remaining two cases were given emergency treatment and are in stable condition.

Currently, authorities are mobilizing rescue agencies to find ways to approach and rescue the missing fishing boat and fishermen.

According to the Quang Ngai Hydrometeorological Center, the area has had heavy and very heavy rain in recent days. The sea has big waves and strong gusts of wind.
