Office work, prolonged computer use, and incorrect posture over time can lead to degeneration of the cervical vertebrae and fibrosis of the neck muscles. This degeneration can obstruct the flow of "qi" (energy).

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, there is a principle: "Where there is vital energy, there is blood; where there is blood, there is vital energy."

During sudden, strenuous exercise, blood is forced to circulate at a higher intensity to distribute energy, which in turn causes the flow of vital energy (qi) to also increase.

When air flows at a higher intensity and becomes obstructed, it creates a reaction force. It is this reaction force that causes the sensation of pain.

This is similar to the situation where a car with its brakes locked accelerates, risking engine failure.

First comes neck, shoulder, and arm pain, followed by back pain. Simultaneously, there may be temporary high blood pressure, migraines, or vestibular disorders.

What puzzles many doctors during clinical examinations is that X-rays show no abnormalities, even though the patient is in pain. The reason is that X-rays cannot capture air bubbles.

Initially, there is pain. Then, these painful areas become swollen. If left untreated, it can develop into inflammation with full symptoms of swelling, heat, redness, and pain.

Yoga warm-up exercises are designed to soften and loosen muscles, thereby helping to clear blockages in the airways.
